i really love this quote. its so meaningful for everyone to remember.
finally done up and submitted my essay for Vietnam War.
yang lao shi, that book right at the top probably looks very familiar. and very forgettable too.
total of 19 sources for a 15 page research essay, with 57 footnotes and citations.
right now working on my take-home exam for south african history.
but in between had a really fun conversation with the head monk over msn, which was really funny and heartwarming at the same time. even in a place so far away, with someone across the border, we still can understand each other. haha.... temple talk.
head monk is right now in uc davis. and he told me about the things that a singaporean would miss most when out of singapore. according to a singaporean he met studying at uc davis,
"the 4 Fs."
"family"
"friends"
"food"
interesting. very true indeed.

you brought the book over? i'm guessing you borrowed it...but, for your Vietnam War essay?
haha nope i borrowed it! i thought it would be a good source for background info on the korean war, the sino-soviet split in the 1960s and the effects of CCP foreign policy on the Indochina Wars since 1950...
